SWIMMING POOL
2015, Design Academy Eindhoven
The aesthetic of the public swimming pools and their minimalistic design is truly fascinating.
Graphic patterns, hypnotic repetitions, recognizable range of colors, but also unconstant tranparency is what is making unique this democratic space of leisure.
When you go to a spa or therapeutic baths, you want to keep some of your stuff with you : money, phone, book, etc.
I decided to create a serie of three bags. made from a subtile weaving, they are covered with a semi-opaque plastic, reminding us of the atmosphere of the public swimming pool, with a chic and sporty touch.
